Getting Closer Outside the Office

Good teamwork does not only come from meetings and talks at work. It also comes from shared experiences and support for one another.

During the six-day trip, team members faced new places together and tried different activities. They shared ideas and experiences in a relaxed setting. Through these real and natural talks, everyone learned more about how other people work, what they are like, and what they do well.

The trip helped team members trust each other more. It also gave them a good base for better talks and teamwork in the future.

A Stronger Team Gives Better Customer Service

At REKO, we believe that good teamwork inside the company has a direct effect on customer service.

For every custom-made project, many teams must work closely together. The work starts with learning what the customer needs, checking drawings, and making a price quote. It then moves to production, quality checks, packing, and delivery. The sales, engineering, production, and quality teams all play a part.

When a sales team talks clearly and works toward the same goal, it can understand customer needs more clearly. It can also share project information faster and bring different teams together more easily.

The trust and teamwork built during the Yunnan trip will help the REKO team serve customers around the world in a better, faster, and more reliable way.

Learning and Growing Through Shared Experiences

The Yunnan team trip also showed an important part of REKO's company culture:

Work hard, keep learning, support one another, and grow together.

During the trip, team members faced different places and new experiences. This helped them become more patient, adjust to change, take more responsibility, and work better with others.

These skills are useful not only during team activities, but also in daily customer projects. When a custom-made part is hard to make, clear talks, quick changes, and a strong sense of duty are very important. They help the project move forward smoothly.

The main gains from this trip were clear: stronger trust, easier communication, better teamwork, more courage when facing problems, and a deeper understanding of different people and cultures. These gains will continue to support the team after the trip ends.

Six Days in Yunnan: Seeing China's Nature and Culture

Yunnan is in southwest China. It is known for its many different natural places, long history, and many local cultures.

During the six-day trip, the REKO sales team visited Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang. We saw special karst rocks, quiet lakes, and rice fields. We also saw traditional Bai buildings and learned about Naxi culture. The trip helped the team relax and learn more about the nature and culture of different parts of China.

First Stop: Kunming - City Life and Amazing Nature

The team first arrived in Kunming on August 19 and stayed there until August 20, 2025.

At the start of the trip, the team visited Kunming city and a local flower market. Team members and their family members walked around, looked at many kinds of flowers, and saw local goods.

This part of the trip was easy and relaxed. People could walk in small groups and talk naturally while visiting the market. At work, sales team members may look after different customers or areas, so they may not have much time to talk about their own interests. During the visit, they could talk about food, flowers, travel, and family. These simple talks helped coworkers learn more about each other.

The visit to Kunming also showed the team a city that felt different from Shenzhen. Work and city life in Shenzhen can move very fast. Kunming gave the group a slower and calmer start before the next parts of the trip.

Next, the team visited the Stone Forest in Kunming. The Stone Forest is part of the UNESCO South China Karst World Natural Heritage Site. It is famous for its many tall stone pillars and is an important example of this kind of karst land.

As we walked between rocks of many shapes, we saw shapes that nature had made over a very long time. The amazing view also helped the team understand the value of patience, small details, and steady work over time.

The same ideas are important when making precise parts. Reliable products and steady service do not appear in one day. They come from careful work on every detail, day after day.

Second Stop: Dali - Bai Culture Between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake

From August 21 to August 22, 2025, the team visited Dali, including Erhai Lake, the Xizhou rice fields, and Dali Old Town.

By Erhai Lake, the wide water, faraway mountains, and quiet nature helped everyone slow down. Team members had easy talks and learned more about each other.

Xizhou lies between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. It is a good place to learn about Bai culture and country life. Many traditional Bai homes are still kept there. The rice fields around Xizhou also show the close link between farming, nature, and local life.

In Xizhou and Dali Old Town, the team saw Bai homes, old streets, and local hand-made arts. Dali Old Town is a city with a long history and rich culture. It is also an important place for showing Bai culture.

The old buildings are still protected and used today. This showed us that passing culture on does not only mean keeping the past. It also means respecting old ways while making them fit life today.

This is close to REKO's idea of working with customers for a long time. We keep our quality rules and good work habits. At the same time, we learn new skills, improve the way we work, and change our plans to meet the needs of different projects.

The value of the Erhai Lake visit did not come from a planned team game. It came from giving people time to slow down and stay together. Some coworkers usually talk only through work messages. During the trip, they had more face-to-face talks and could understand each other better.

Third Stop: Lijiang - Snow Mountain, Old Town, and Naxi Culture

From August 23 to August 24, 2025, the team went to Lijiang and visited Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Shuhe Old Town.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain has big changes in height, many kinds of plants at different levels, and marks left by glaciers. It is important for nature protection and study.

In front of the high snow mountain, team members saw the great beauty of Yunnan. They also learned the importance of not giving up, cheering for one another, and moving forward together. Each person had a different level of strength and a different walking speed. Team members cared for one another, waited for one another, and finished the trip together.

This spirit of support is also part of our daily work. When we face hard drawings, very exact size limits, short delivery times, or project changes, the sales, engineering, production, and quality teams must work as one and find a way to solve the problem together.

Next, we visited Shuhe Old Town. Shuhe is an important part of the Old Town of Lijiang World Cultural Heritage Site. It is also one of the best-kept old market towns on the Tea Horse Road. Its streets, waterways, old buildings, and daily life show the special Naxi culture of the Lijiang area.

Here, the team saw the many different cultures of different groups of people in China. We also learned the importance of respecting differences, talking openly, and understanding one another.

This open and respectful way of thinking is also important for REKO because we serve customers around the world. Customers from different countries and industries have different work rules, ways of talking, and project needs. We can build strong and steady working relationships only by listening carefully, understanding clearly, and keeping our talks open and honest.

One Team, One Goal

The six-day Yunnan trip has ended, but the trust, teamwork, and shared memories built during the trip will continue to help us in our future work.

The trip showed us why it is important to keep going and work together.

In the future, REKO will keep caring about employee well-being, team building, and staff growth. We will continue to organize healthy activities that give employees time to rest, communicate, learn, and support one another. We will keep building a company culture where people feel respected, valued, positive, responsible, helpful, and ready to work together.

The trip brought clear gains: closer relationships, stronger trust, better communication, more support between coworkers, and greater confidence when facing challenges. These gains will help us work more closely, respond to changes more quickly, and take more responsibility. We will carefully handle every drawing, every request for a price, and every customer project. When employees feel supported and teams work well together, customers receive more reliable service.
