At REKO, quality is not an after-thought—it's built into every step of our production. From material verification to machining control, from surface treatment monitoring to final shipment checks, each process follows a strict and traceable standard.

Quality Control Standards

quality_control_standards_material_inspection Quality Control Standards
  1. Check quantity and weight according to the supplier's delivery note.
  2. Verify material certification and ensure all documents match the order.
  3. Inspect material dimensions based on the purchase specifications.
  4. If required, send materials for third-party testing and issue a test report.
first_piece_inspection_measurement First Piece Inspection
  1. The first piece of each project is sent to QC for approval before mass production.
  2. After passing, mass production begins and inspection data is recorded in the Quality Inspection Report.
  3. If the first piece fails, the part is corrected and re-inspected until qualified.
process_inspection_equipment_operation Process Inspection
  1. QC inspects parts produced by the machine throughout the process.
  2. Machines are checked every 2 hours, with results recorded in the inspection report.
  3. If an issue is found, QC notifies production for immediate correction.
  4. Operators also perform self-inspection, with frequency adjusted based on material type.

Material Inspection & Verification

At REKO, every project starts with strict material control.
We only source raw materials from reputable and certified suppliers, and each batch comes with traceable documentation.

material_inspection_raw_alloy_bars

Our Material Control Process

  • Verify alloy grade and specifications upon arrival.
  • Hardness and chemical composition spot-check (when needed).
  • Inspect surface condition, flatness, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Label and record each batch for traceability.
  • Provide alternative material recommendations when the required alloy is unavailable —never substitute materials without customer approval.
  • Common Industry Problems

Many customers tell us they have experienced this with other suppliers:

    industry_problem_low_grade_alloy_replacement
Materials are quietly replaced with similar but lower-grade alloys
    industry_problem_mixed_batch_materials
Materials are quietly replaced with similar but lower-grade alloys
    industry_problem_non_certified_material_issues
Non-certified or recycled material leads to poor anodizing results, cracking, or failure in assembly

    How REKO Solves This

  • No material enters production without inspection
  • Every batch has a unique traceable ID
  • Machining Quality Control

Before machining begins, our engineers perform a rigorous review of customer drawings.

    drawing_program_verification_tools

    Drawing & Program Verification

  • Compare 2D drawings with the 3D model point-by-point
  • Confirm GD&T, thread specifications, chamfers, radii, and allowances
  • Report any inconsistency immediately
  • All CNC programs go through secondary verification and simulation
  • tooling_equipment_control_machine

    Tooling & Equipment Control

  • Custom fixtures are replaced every 50 uses to prevent tolerance drift
  • Cutting tools follow strict lifespan management
  • Parameter locking prevents unauthorized changes
  • Unique program version numbers ensure batch-to-batch consistency
  • cnc_machining_process_operation

Common Machining Problems in the Industry

  • Thin-wall vibration causing deformation
  • Tool wear leading to gradual size deviation
  • Missing features (small steps, pockets, fillets)
  • Mirror-side machining errors
  • Incorrect chamfers or thread depths
  • How REKO Prevents These Issues

  • Use damping methods for thin-walled parts (supporting wax, back taping, speed optimization)
  • Two-person program review system
  • Directional markers to avoid wrong-side machining
  • Mandatory Go/No-Go gauge inspection for threads
  • In-Process & Final Inspection

Our inspection workflow ensures dimensional stability throughout the entire production process.

    Inspection Steps

  • First Article Inspection (×3) before full production
  • In-Process Inspection (IPQC) on critical dimensions
  • Random Sampling Inspection during production
  • Full Inspection or Sampling based on customer requirements
  • Provide complete Inspection Reports including measurement charts and gauge IDs
  • inspection_steps_recording

Typical Defects Caused by Poor QC

  • Wrong or reversed thread direction
  • Over-deburring leading to undersized dimensions
  • Incorrect radii
  • Unfinished pockets or misaligned steps
  • Dimension drift in long-run machining
  • How REKO Eliminates These Risks

  • Dual-operator confirmation on critical steps
  • Standardized deburring procedures
  • Final piece inspection to verify batch consistency
  • Digital record of all QC results for traceability
  • Surface Treatment Quality Assurance

Surface finish plays a major role in final product quality.
Before any part goes to surface treatment, it must pass a 100% pre-finish inspection.

    surface_treatment_pre_control_inspection

    Pre-Treatment Control

Remove burrs, tool marks, and sharp edges

Ensure consistent surface roughness (Ra control)

Group parts by material batch to prevent color variation

Confirm dimensional allowance for finishing thickness

  • Normal anodizing: +5–10 µm
  • Hard anodizing: +30–50 µm
  • Anodizing treatment order form

All Parts must be fully checked before anodizing,It is to improve surface treatment quality rate.

Oxidized linker points confirmed multiple times

We will prepare a diagram of the mounting points and inform the surface treatment supplier of the exact positions of the anodized connection points. This will prevent them from mounting the components in the wrong positions, which could cause scratches on the product.

    1. 1. If your darwing shows the anodizing conecting points,we will do it as your drawing mentioned.
    2. If your drawing did not show the conecting points, Normall we conect it in the hole
    3. If there are hanging points on the thread, sometimes the thread will appear white spot after anodizing, which is unavoidable.
    4. If some product has no hole or no hanger points,It would have some white spot after anodizing.
